On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Cedar Grove High School standout Alfonso Lombardi’s current college team, the Lynn Fighting Knights, won 6-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Delta State Statesmen.
The game took place at Lynn Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Statesmen this season.
The Fighting Knights’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 6 at 2 p.m. at Lynn Baseball Field against Erskine Flying Fleet.
