Governor Mikie Sherrill shared a series of updates on her official Twitter account over the weekend, including messages celebrating spring sports, Easter, and the safe rescue of two crew members.
On April 4, 2026, Sherrill posted: “Beautiful day for spring sports! https://t.co/lRzR3J5ILN”.
The following day, April 5, she extended holiday greetings with the message: “From my family to yours – Happy Easter! May your day be filled with joy, renewal, and meaningful time with loved ones. https://t.co/k3sCbb734h”.
Later on April 5, Sherrill commented on a successful rescue operation: “Relieved and grateful that both crew members have been rescued safely. Deep thanks to the brave service members whose courage made it possible. https://t.co/tsm6FKTSVo”.
Mikie Sherrill has served in the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 11th District since 2019 after succeeding Rodney Frelinghuysen. Born in Alexandria, Virginia in 1972 and currently residing in Montclair at age 51, Sherrill is known for her ongoing engagement with constituents through social media platforms.
