The Township of Livingston announced on Mar. 23 that there will be no metal recycling pickup on Friday, April 3, 2026. The regular service is set to resume the following week.

This update is important for residents who rely on municipal recycling services and need to plan their disposal of metal items accordingly.

According to the announcement, metal recycling pickup will resume on Friday, April 10. Residents who wish to use this service must register by noon on Thursday, April 9. Additionally, the township stated that the online request form for metal pickup will not be available during the week of March 30 through April 3.

Registration for future pickups can be completed online starting Monday, April 6 at livingstonnj.org/MetalRequest.
