The Township of Livingston announced on April 19 that scheduled water main repairs will take place at the intersection of North Livingston Avenue and Bryant Drive. The work is expected to cause possible water interruptions or discolored water from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., along with traffic delays in the area.

Residents are advised to plan alternative routes during the repair period due to expected traffic congestion. The township also informed residents that if they notice air or discoloration in their tap water, they should run the cold water faucet at the sink closest to their water meter until it runs clear.

In its statement, the township said, “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause & thank you for your understanding.”

Water main repairs are essential for maintaining reliable service and public health, but can temporarily disrupt daily routines for local residents and commuters.

The township encourages all affected residents and drivers to remain patient during these necessary repairs.
