Livingston Recreation announced on Apr. 8 that it will host a Glow Back to the 80’s Mother/Son Dance, inviting first through fifth grade boys and their mothers or mother figures for an evening of music and activities.

The event aims to provide a fun opportunity for young boys and their caregivers to spend quality time together in a themed setting inspired by the 1980s. Organizers say the night will include entertainment, laughter, and classic ’80s vibes.

Scheduled for Saturday, June 13 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the dance will take place at the Livingston Senior/Community Center located at 204 Hillside Avenue. Tickets are priced at $10 each, with pre-registration required either online through Community Pass or in person at the Recreation Office during regular business hours.

The invitation is extended not only to mothers but also to any mother-like figure age eighteen or older who wishes to attend with a child unable to bring their mom. The organizers encourage participation from all eligible families in grades one through five.

For questions about registration or event details, community members can call the Recreation Department at (973) 535-7925, option zero, Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., or email the department directly.
