Recreation and Senior Services in Livingston is inviting community members to participate in the “Trim the Tree” initiative by donating hats, mittens, gloves, and scarves. The donation tree is set up at the Senior/Community Center located at 204 Hillside Ave., lower level entrance.
Donations will be accepted until December 20, 2025. Residents who have questions can call 973-535-7925, option 0, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or email recreation@livingstonnj.org.
The Livingston Police Department reminds residents that spring brings increased sightings of local foxes and their young kits. Officials advise avoiding direct contact with wild animals, keeping yards tidy, and only contacting Animal Control if an animal appears sick or aggressive.
