Police training exercises are scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 3, from about 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The activities will occur in the area of N. Westgate Road.
Officials have stated that these are routine exercises and do not indicate any emergency or threat to the community.
Such training sessions are conducted regularly by law enforcement agencies to maintain preparedness and improve response capabilities.
Livingston Township municipal offices will close early at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3. Offices will reopen as usual on Monday, April 6. Emergency services remain available by dialing 9-1-1.
Livingston officials announced that East Cedar Street will be closed for scheduled water main repairs on March 31. Residents should expect possible disruptions in their water service and plan alternate routes.
