Rep. Mikie Sherrill, who represents New Jersey’s 11th district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed several local and national issues through her official Twitter account.
On July 21, 2025, Sherrill criticized recent tariff policies from the Trump Administration, stating, “These tariffs will hit local coffee shops across the country, including one of my favorites Java Love right here in NJ-11. This is another reckless policy decision from the Trump Administration that raises prices for consumers and threatens small businesses.”
The following day, on July 22, 2025, she discussed her efforts to protect jobs and funding at Picatinny Arsenal: “I’m leading a bipartisan group of NJ lawmakers urging Secretary Hegseth to halt the Army’s shortsighted proposal that would would shift nearly $1 billion in funding and about 1,000 jobs away from Picatinny Arsenal, threatening our national security. We will not stand by while https://t.co/u8e2Q2QwjQ”
On July 23, 2025, Sherrill congratulated a local educational organization: “Congratulations to Head Start of Morris County on the grand opening of their newly-renovated Susan O’Donnell Head Start Headquarters in Dover! Head Start is a vital community resource that supports and teaches our young children, preparing them for a bright future. Susan https://t.co/qLFkykr3An”
