On March 20, 2025, Sherrill invited residents to participate in a town hall meeting scheduled for Thursday, April 3rd at 5:00 PM. She encouraged registration by April 3rd at noon to receive the exact location via email the day before the event. “Please join me for a town hall on Thursday, April 3rd at 5:00 PM! Register here by April 3rd at 12:00 PM”.
Later that same day, Sherrill addressed educational concerns related to actions taken by former President Trump regarding the Department of Education. She emphasized the importance of investing in children’s education as critical for their success both academically and professionally. “The most important investment we can make is in our children.”
On March 21, she expressed relief over the safety of individuals involved in an incident on I-80 and informed followers about ongoing communications with NJDOT for updates. She advised planning additional travel time due to expected detours and traffic disruptions along I-80. “I am glad to see that everyone is safe after yesterday’s incident on I-80.”
