On Tuesday, Feb. 25, former Verona High School standout Pierce Coppola’s current college team, the Florida Gators, won 6-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Stetson Hatters.
The game took place at Melching Field at Conrad Park. This was their first matchup against the Hatters this season.
The Gators’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m. at Condron Family Ballpark against North Florida Ospreys.
