The Township of Livingston announced on April 15 that water main repairs are scheduled to take place at the corner of Spalding Drive and Kimball Avenue on April 16. The work is expected to cause possible water interruptions or discolored water between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., as well as traffic delays in the area.

The announcement matters for residents and commuters who may be affected by changes in their water service or travel plans during the repair period.

According to township officials, residents might notice air or discoloration in their tap water while the repairs are underway. In such cases, they advise running the cold water faucet at the sink closest to the water meter until it runs clear. The township also recommends planning alternative routes due to anticipated traffic delays near Spalding Drive and Kimball Avenue.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause & thank you for your understanding,” said officials from the Township of Livingston.

Further updates regarding completion or additional instructions will be provided if necessary.
