The average reported cost of regular gas in cities within Essex County was $3.04 per gallon.
Of the 209 reported gas stations in cities within Essex County, 88 offer regular gas.
The $2.98 average reported price of regular gas in New Jersey was unchanged from the previous week.

At the same time, trade policies—such as tariffs on Canadian and Mexican oil as noted by GasBuddy—are adding extra pressure by increasing costs for refiners, which could impact consumer prices and further challenge household budgets.
