Rep. Mikie Sherrill, who represents New Jersey’s 11th District in the U.S. Congress, has recently communicated her legislative efforts and community engagements through a series of tweets. Serving since 2019, Sherrill has focused on labor rights, economic relief for families, and youth engagement in community service.

On January 22, 2025, Rep. Sherrill announced the reintroduction of federal legislation aimed at enhancing the role of labor unions in determining how federal workforce training funds are distributed. The following day, on January 23, 2025, she addressed economic concerns faced by families in New Jersey due to rising grocery prices. In response to these challenges, she is working on reintroducing the REDUCE Food Prices Act with the goal of increasing competition among grocery stores to lower costs for consumers. She tweeted: "Across New Jersey, I’ve heard from families who are struggling to make ends meet as they try to keep up with rising grocery store prices."

In another post dated January 24, 2025, Sherrill shared her involvement with local youth by attending Troop 277’s Eagle Scout Court of Honor ceremony. She expressed her admiration for their dedication and anticipated their continued contributions to their communities: "Last week, my team was honored to join Troop 277’s Eagle Scout Court of Honor."
