Mikie Sherrill, a U.S. Congress representative for New Jersey's 11th district, has shared her thoughts on social media regarding several pressing issues. Representing her district since 2019, Sherrill has been vocal about matters affecting both her state and the nation.

On February 1, 2025, Sherrill commemorated the beginning of Black History Month by acknowledging the significant contributions of the Black community to New Jersey and the United States. She emphasized that "Throughout February — and all year long — we honor the impact that the Black community has made on NJ & our nation."
