LOGO | Kiwanis Club of Caldwell - West Essex
On February 2, 2023, Nancy Schiliro of the Wounded Warrior Project spoke to the Kiwanis Club of Caldwell-West Essex. Schiliro is a Marine who was injured during a tour in Iraq and as a result of her injuries, lost her right eye. She shared her story of overcoming her injuries and helping other wounded soldiers find their purpose. Schiliro told the members about her passion assisting other veterans and helped her find her purpose after she was medically discharged following her injuries.
