Rep. Mikie Sherrill, a U.S. Congress member representing New Jersey's 11th district, has made recent public communications on her official social media account related to veterans' support and media labor agreements. Her posts have highlighted her involvement in advocating for veteran's assistance programs and supporting labor rights for journalists.

On March 27, 2025, Rep. Sherrill expressed her gratitude to Montclair State University for hosting a Veteran and Military Student Networking Luncheon. She stated, "Thank you to @MontclairStateU for hosting a Veteran and Military Student Networking Luncheon. My team was glad to join to share information for servicemembers transitioning to civilian life, and provide resources to help veterans needing assistance with VA benefits."

The following day, on March 28, 2025, she shared her satisfaction regarding a contract agreement reached by journalists at three New Jersey newspapers with Gannett. She noted, "I’m glad to see that journalists at three New Jersey newspapers have reached a contract agreement with Gannett that will boost wages by 25% and provide critical job security for working families. In a subsequent post on the same day, Rep. Sherrill elaborated on her role in the negotiation process with Gannett. She declared, "I was proud to work with NewsGuild-CWA earlier this month and lead the entire NJ House Democratic delegation in urging Gannett to bargain fairly with their employees and reach contract agreements that provide good wages and benefits as quickly as possible.
