Mikie Sherrill, a U.S. Congress representative for New Jersey's 11th District since 2019, has recently shared updates on her legislative activities and community engagement through a series of tweets. Sherrill, who resides in Montclair and succeeded Rodney Frelinghuysen in office, continues to actively participate in various initiatives and discussions.

On March 10, 2025, Sherrill announced an opportunity for high school students in NJ-11 to participate in the Congressional Art Competition. "Calling all NJ-11 High School students! My office will be accepting submissions for this year’s Congressional Art Competition from today through April 10th, 2025. I look forward to celebrating all of our young artists’ hard work."

In a tweet dated March 12, 2025, she expressed her disapproval of a resolution put forth by House Republicans. She stated: "Today, I voted NO on House Republicans’ continuing resolution that fails to rein in Elon Musk — an unelected billionaire — while jeopardizing access to critical programs, such as health care for veterans and disaster relief in the wake of extreme storms."

Additionally, on March 12, 2025, Sherrill shared her efforts to reintroduce legislation recognizing the contributions of the Donut Dollies during the Vietnam War. "This week I reintroduced legislation that would award a Congressional Gold Medal to the Donut Dollies to honor their service on the frontlines of the Vietnam War. For too long, their heroism, bravery, and sacrifices have gone unrecognized."
