Mikie Sherrill, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey's 11th district since 2019, has been vocal on several legislative issues via her social media platform. Born in Alexandria, Virginia, in 1972 and currently residing in Montclair, Sherrill has focused her efforts on matters concerning women's rights and judicial practices.

On March 5, 2025, Sherrill shared her advocacy for servicewomen's health rights. She stated that she "spearheaded efforts to ensure our servicewomen can access a full-year’s supply of contraception" and is actively working to support military families stationed in states with restrictive abortion laws by enabling them to travel for necessary care.

In another post from the same day, Sherrill addressed judicial practices by highlighting her legislative initiative against judge shopping. She noted that "I have a bill that would prevent right-wing extremists from using a practice called judge shopping," which she described as a tactic used to influence cases of national importance by selecting favorable judges.

Furthermore, Sherrill emphasized collective action against recent political maneuvers affecting abortion rights. In her tweet, she urged collaboration among supporters: "As we continue to fight back with legislation and litigation... Get organized and make sure your…" This call to action reflects her commitment to opposing attempts at overturning established abortion rights through both legislative and legal means.
